Head Of The Hooch Regatta renews contract with RegattaCentral for five year term

The Head Of The Hooch Regatta has entered into their second 5-year contract with RegattaCentral, the leading provider of online solutions for the rowing community, designating the company as their Official Registrar. Held in Chattanooga at Ross’s Landing Riverfront, Head of the Hooch is one of the largest regattas in the world, with over 2000 boats competing over two days.

Chris Lemcke, Assistant Director Logistics for the Hooch, is looking forward to the continued relationship with RC. "The Hooch is excited to extend our long-standing partnership with RegattaCentral.”, said Lemcke. "They have been central in providing the tools to allow both our regatta registration, as well as our volunteer registration, to succeed."

With a partnership spanning over a decade, the renewed agreement will enable RC to enhance the innovative features it provides for the Hooch and the rowing community at large.

About the Head Of The Hooch

Held annually on the first weekend of November, the Head of the Hooch is one of the world’s largest rowing regattas. First held in 1982 on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, GA, the regatta has changed locations twice to accommodate increased attendance and is now held in downtown Chattanooga, TN. Over the years the regatta has welcomed competitors from nearly every US state and 10 countries. It has grown into a 2-day event with over 2,000 entries and 200+ organizations competing.
