About the Head Of The Hooch |
|
Held annually on the first weekend of November, the Head of the Hooch is one of the world’s largest rowing regattas. First held in 1982 on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, GA, the regatta has changed locations twice to accommodate increased attendance and is now held in downtown Chattanooga, TN. Over the years the regatta has welcomed competitors from nearly every US state and 10 countries. It has grown into a 2-day event with over 2,000 entries and 200+ organizations competing. |
